The Mall Park (AGAIN)

To me, this park seems rather boring, but Claire can't seem to get enough of it. We went shopping today, and she was such a joy. She has become quite the little shopper. She slides the clothing back and forth on the rack, she hold clothes up to herself to size, and proclaims, "This is so cute, Mom!". She even likes to push the buttons on the credit card machine. Her reward was a trip to the park.

Blowing Pinwheels

This was the first time Claire's ever had a pinwheel. She loved it! It made getting her photo a little more difficult because she only wanted to look at it, and ignored me. The wind was mostly powering the little pinwheel, but Claire thought she was doing it. When the wind quit blowing, Claire really tried to get the wheel to spin again. It was so cute. It's amazing how much fun 87 cents can buy.

TV Addict

This is about the only view of Claire that I can get when she gets tuned in to her "shows". When we are out running errands, she says, "I want to go home and watch my shows." She's definately a second child. Noah would have never gotten away with that at 2!

Easter Preview

Aren't they the cutest little things? With the weather so cooperative, we decide to try for an pre-Easter shoot. Afterwards we went to Fuddruckers for dinner. The girls made quite a splash, turning heads everywhere they went. They love the attention. It is pretty fun to watch.

St Patty's Day at the Pottery Store

Trying to fight the "Spring Break Borings", we headed to the Mudd Room for a creative outlet. I love that place! The kids do, too. They are mostly abstract artists, so I had them paint eggs. I plan to put them all in an Easter basket for a center piece.

Lesson Learned...

Never tell your two year old child your plan for the day! Last Saturday, I woke Claire asking her if she wanted to go see an elephant and feed him apples. She was so excited. She took her bath and got dressed without any fuss. She was dancing and singing madeup elephant songs. When we got to the Science Spectrum, the elephant was not outside. When I inquired about the elephant, they said it was too cold for him to come out, but they would bring him out at 12:30. We got there at 11:00. We waited, no elephant. We waited another hour, no elephant. By this time, it was past time for a nap, so we needed to leave. I won't blog about what happened next. I will say my angel girl was not so angelic! She fell asleep in the car. She woke up a little when I was getting her out of the car and said, "Elephant" in the most sad voice.
Lesson learned! Next time I have a big event planned, I am going to make it a surprise. Then, if it doesn't work out, my poor baby won't be heartbroken!

Nevaeh and Faith Turn 5

Faith and Nevaeh had their party at the park. The weather man predicted the weather to be a perfect Saturday when I made the invites. It ended up being very windy and a little too cold! The kids played at the park for a while and then we went to Kris' house for cake. You can tell how windy it was by the photos!

Tell me how you really feel!

Noah gets really tired of the camera!

Look!

It was pajama day at Claire's school. I was able to pull just enough hair to make some really cute pigtails. Grow hair, GROW!
