It's that time of year! The kids love attending VBS. They were able to go to a couple of them. They love the music the best!

Spring Chicken

As I have said many times before, Claire loves critters! When she asked her Daddy for a baby chick, I knew he would not be able to resist (although I wish he could).
She was so excited when he brought them home. The first thing she said was, "I want to show Katie!" So, when Katie came over the next day, Claire was over the moon to show them off. They both love the chicks. I just wish I could make them understand that squeezing the chicks (out of love and excitement) is a bad thing.

Noah's Pop Star Performance

Noah has been attending a Pop Star Camp all week. He has learned about stage performance, singing, and dancing. He has enjoyed everyday of camp. Tonight was the end finale. He sang an entire song all by himself on stage! He did an awesome job! We were so proud of him. He had his own cheering section, complete with posters! Mom, Dad, DD, Nana, Jospeph, Faith, Nevaeh, Julie, Dave, Lilli, Claire, Daniel, Shane, and Morgan came to cheer him on! After the concert, Noah signed autographs while we ate cookies. A good time was had by all!

I feel so terrible about Noah's painful sunburn! I wasn't there, but I still feel responsible. I was going to put the sunscreen on him, but I decided that AC would do it for him. He was so anxious to get in the pool, so he ran away at half way through the sunscreen application. He thought it was 'good enough'. His sunburn is so painful that he can't lay down. This is the way I found him tonight when I went to tuck him in. :(

Silly Little Girls

I've got a little poser and a nose picker! Claire can't seem to keep her finger out of her nose lately. And then there is Cheyenne! That girl is always up for a quick picture. When I tell her how cute she is, she will say, "You can take my picture!". They are a lot of fun.

Memorial Day

Today was the perfect weather for a Joyland trip. Noah went with his friend, Morgan. I was excited that he would get to go and I could stay at home and get some cleaning done. Then, the phone rings. My friend had two extra tickets that she wasn't going to be able to use. She invited me and Claire to come to Joyland with her and her two little ones. Claire has never been to Joyland, so I took the opportunity to spend some one on one time with her. She loved everything the park had to offer. I thought she would be a little timid, but that was not the case at all! She hopped on the rides just like a big girl. I found Noah and Morgan a while later. Noah was impressing her with his new found bravery. He rode all of the rides that he was tall enough to ride. I was so proud of him. Then, when I thought he was ready to wind down on the way home, I look over and he is reading his newest chapter book. There are no more AR points to earn this year. He was reading it for enjoyment. Then, I was absolutely proud of him!

Catching up...Easter

The kids went egg hunting a few days after Easter Sunday because the weather was so nasty. I am glad that we waited because they had a lot of fun in the warm weather.
